In a world where trust and transparency are a rarity, Sweden is taking a bold and inspiring position on Twitter.
Each week, the Twitter account, @sweden, is handed over to a new Swedish citizen. The Curators of Sweden is a social media concept started by the Svenska Institute and VisitSweden. The goal, according to VisitSweden:
For seven days, she or he tweets about life in Sweden, love or work, sharing opinions and ideas along the way. Then, someone else does the same – but differently.
It's a really amazing concept placing an immense amount of trust and responsibility in their own citizens. And you can imagine the diverse range of content that has come out of the different people. Here are some examples:
